Ebirah (エビラ Ebira) is a gigantic lobster and one of the supporting character in King Ghidorah: Master of Monsters.
Subtitle: Sea Monster (海怪獣, Umi kaijū)
Appearance and Personality[]
Ebirah basically loos like a giant shrimp. As such he's got a goblin-like head, a crustacean, segmented red body with an antennae and mouth, and a dark red underbelly.
Ebirah usually serves as a comic relief character and as such, has a tendency to quip witty or deadpan quotes. However, he can also man up and get serious when the situation arises.

Skills and Abilities[]
- Strength - Despite being one of the weaker members of the Ghidorah Empire, Ebirah actually is a tough fighter and has been seen to match monsters like Onibaba, Mutavore, and even King Kong on several occasions. His claws are even strong enough to shatter rock and punch through Slattern's skin - and even decapitate the monster's head when the giant beast was sufficiently weakened.
- Speed and Swimming - Ebirah is one of the best swimmers in the Ghidorah Empire and can reach 390 knots easily. He is more cumbersome on land, however. Being a mutant shrimp, he can also stay and live underwater for long stretches of time.
Trivia[]
- Along with Hedorah, Megalon, and Orga, he serves as the series' resident comic relief characters.
- In the English dub, he's voiced by Tom Kenny, who among other things is most famous for voicing SpongeBob SquarePants.
- A running gag in the series has him whistling Eric Idle's Always Look on The Bright Side of Life.
